This was our first fun event of the year and what a great day it turned out to be. We had our best turnout we have ever had! 36 players took part with the final result being 5-21 to the men. The laughter around the rinks was a testament to how much the day was enjoyed by all, with drinks & ice-creams rounding off a wonderful afternoon.
Nigel Bunton received the trophy on behalf of the men from Ladies’ Captain Sue Aplin.
Ladies, well done to all of you for putting up a good fight and congratulations to the ladies’ teams who won. Next year, the ladies intend to have their revenge and get the plate back.
