On Sunday 11th August, thirty-six enthusiastic bowlers competed in Meers Cup competition. Through the group stages in the morning, and then the semi-final and final in the afternoon, teams of three competed with great determination!! The day was enjoyed by both competitors and spectators and a bonus was the lack of rain!
The eventual winners were Dave Singleton, Sam Walker & Roger Annell who were presented with the Meers Cup by the Club President, Geoff Cave.
