This was our first fun event of the year and what a great day it turned out to be despite the soaring temperatures. We had our best turnout we have ever had! 38 players took part with the final result being 5-1 to the men. The laughter around the rinks was a testament to how much the day was enjoyed by all, with drinks & cakes rounding off a wonderful afternoon. A huge thank you also goes to Angela Baggs and the team of bakers, for producing a lovely tea.

Ladies, well done to all of you for putting up a good fight and congratulations to the ladies’ teams who won. Next year, the ladies intend to have their revenge and get the plate back.
