On Sunday 10th August, thirty-six enthusiastic bowlers competed in Meers Cup competition. Through the group stages in the morning, and then the semi-final and final in the afternoon, teams of three competed with great determination!! The day was enjoyed by both competitors and spectators although the extreme heat was an added challenge.
The eventual winners were team G who were presented with the Meer’s Cup by the Club President, Anne Hutton.
